The Italian Opera Night traditionally takes place at the end of the Darmstadt Residence Festival on the Mathildenhöhe. This year, the focus of the program is on Giacomo Puccini on the 100th anniversary of his death. Scenes and arias from La Bohème, Tosca, Madame Butterfly, Manon Lescaut, Turandot and others will be performed.

Let yourself be enchanted when soloists, the Darmstadt Concert Choir and the Darmstadt Court Orchestra under the direction of Wolfgang Seeliger present well-known overtures, opera melodies, arias and opera choirs in the impressive setting of the open-air stage on the Mathildenhöhe World Heritage Site.
