I am absolutely thrilled to return to the stage for the second performance of Nabucco here in Budapest, Hungary. I have the honor of performing the role of Ismaele once again in one of the most celebrated masterpieces of Italian opera. It is always a true joy to bring life to the character, especially in a production that showcases the depth and beauty of Giuseppe Verdi’s work.

Nabucco holds a special place in the world of opera, not only for its powerful storyline but also for the extraordinary music that has continued to resonate with audiences for over 150 years. Verdi’s genius shines through in every note, and the iconic Va’ Pensiero chorus—known across the globe—is nothing short of transcendent. Every time it is sung, the energy from both the orchestra and the choir, along with the response from the audience, is electrifying.
